This cruise is the perfect way to combine a wonderful holiday with superb sailing aboard a magnificent ocean going yacht (with porpoises and dolphins playing in our wake!) stopping at many delightful ports before our final destination of the historic maritime city of Brest. We leave the Solent and after crossing the Channel with its busy shipping areas and the beautiful coastline of Northern France and the Channel Islands comes the excitement of the Chenal de Four.
The aim of this cruise is to provide a mix of sailing combined with sightseeing in the ports that we visit. There is the opportunity to gain seamiles and night hours and the chance to obtain a Competent Crew or Day Skipper qualification whilst the aspiring Coastal Skipper can experience Coastal Passage making and navigation.
Meals under way and first night marina fees are included. Fuel costs are split between clients

The Channel Islands are a unique and delightful cruising ground of clear, warm waters, stunning beaches, sunshine and scenery. They offer excellent cuisine, duty free shopping, modern marinas plus sheltered and secluded bays. All of these combine to make our Channel Island Cruises a sailing holiday of a lifetime.
During July, August and early September, Happy Hobo will cruise the French coast and the Channel Islands, dropping anchor in sheltered coves where you can laze in the sunshine or swim in the clear, warm waters. Chose local cruising around the Cherbourg peninsula, Alderney or Guernsey, or experience the delights of a longer passage to Jersey or St Malo. All of our Cruises are ideal for either novices who want to learn to sail, or those sailors who want to extend their cruising experience. The emphasis is on having fun on a relaxing, enjoyable holiday, however, practical advice and instruction is available from our fully qualified RYA/MCA Ocean Instructor leading to an RYA qualification if desired.
